Professionally, Rachel Kutskill is an experienced owner and wellness coordinator with over two decades of dedicated service in holistic health and wellness clinics. She is passionately committed to helping clients restore and maintain their health and quality of life through personalized movement and wellness programs, while also being actively involved in community awareness events that provide knowledge and resources for Pueblo’s wellness platform.
With over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Rachel wanted to encompass a deeper understanding of how the kinetic chain is affected by repetitive movements, prior injuries, emotional and psychological health, nutritional health, and the overall wellness of the whole body. Because of this, she pursued certifications and teachings of corrective exercise, aromatherapy, nutritional support and supplementation, various movement therapies and more. It is through these teachings she created Fit Instincts, a premier whole healthcare clinic designed to treat and teach through proper movement, recovery sessions, and whole food nutrition.
A fearless trailblazer, Rachel is a visionary entrepreneur dedicated to transforming lives through innovation, courage and unwavering compassion. As the driving force behind Fit Instincts, she seizes opportunities with bold determination, never shying away from challenges that lead to growth and progress. More than just a leader, she is a changemaker–one who pioneers new paths to wellness, ensuring that every decision she makes uplifts her community. Her purpose is clear: to empower, heal and inspire those around her, creating a lasting impact that goes beyond business and into the heart of the people she serves.
Ms. Kutskill is also a columnist for the Pueblo Star Journal, spearheading the Thrive column dedicated to fostering wellness and resilience within the vibrant community of Pueblo. She is committed to delivering insightful content that empowers readers to prioritize their well-being and navigate life's challenges with resilience. Rachel is passionate about highlighting local resources and initiatives that promote holistic health and thriving lifestyles.
Serving as Lead Coordinator for the Colorado state chapter of Wholistic Health Alliance (WHA), a Boston based non-profit, enables Rachel to continue her passion by engaging and empowering our communities to be healthier. WHA provides a robust directory to assist in the search for a holistic practitioner in the geographic region of choice. The bigger goal is to integrate into mainstream healthcare so as to improve consumer access and insurance coverage for the services rendered by holistic practitioners.
Rachel Kutskill works as a River Guide during the summer in Canon City, leading trips through the Royal Gorge. When she isn’t guiding for Whitewater Adventure Outfitters, she can be found on multi-day river expeditions and has been blessed to row boats down several sections of river and different countrysides including, but not limited to, the Grand Canyon, Middle Fork Salmon and Gates of Ladore.
Rachel uses her down time to backpack and hike with friends, ski during the winter, bike ride through town and walk the canyons at the reservoir with her dog.
If there is one thing Rachel feels passionate about, it is living a quality life full of adventures and stories to share.
